Romantic Styled Shoot

We photographed a romantic Houston wedding styled a few months ago (we are playing catch up with our blog!) at the Clubs at Houston Oaks, and we were SO EXCITED to be a part of this creative collaboration!

If you haven’t ever been to the Clubs at Houston Oaks, you’re really missing out. The gorgeous oak trees always make for some jaw-dropping images when we come out here. The trees are dripping with ivy, and the lighting is stunning; it looks like something out of an old movie! There’s even a chapel on the premises, so there are plenty of opportunities to change up the background. We can’t say enough wonderful things about the rough hewn wood and exposed stone textures. This is the perfect spot for any kind of photography, especially wedding photography! As a Texas wedding venue, it would be a perfect decision, especially if you’re looking for something that evokes feelings of romance and grandeur.

Add to this stunning backdrop the planning expertise of Heather Benge Events, and you really have something special. Every detail on this shoot exuded romance. From the backdrops and models to the expertly designed florals by F. Dellit Designs, everything in this romantic, dreamy wedding shoot pulled together beautifully. It’s such a joy to collaborate with other amazing professionals!

The best part about this shoot was the gorgeous couple. Sometimes, our jobs as wedding photographers become so much easier because we get locations and subjects to photograph that look amazing no matter what—and that was definitely the case in this romantic shoot! The styling was impeccable, and the way the soft pastel pink color palette popped against the stone and ivy was simply gorgeous.
