Moscow Mule East Texas Wedding Inspiration

Wedding inspiration can come from anywhere. We love when our East Texas wedding photography clients find wedding inspiration in things that are important to them. Often, when planning a wedding, you see inspiration come from a favorite season, a favorite color, a favorite movie, or a favorite book. But it’s not every day that wedding inspiration comes from a cocktail!

East Texas Wedding Inspiration

These inspirational wedding photos are all tied in with the theme of a Moscow Mule. If you’re not familiar with a Moscow Mule, this is a cocktail served in a shining copper mug, traditionally made with ginger beer and vodka with a squeeze of lime. We love how the core theme of a Moscow Mule came through in this wedding. From the copper shimmer and shine of the invitations with calligraphy by Cottonwood Print Design Co. to the warm copper undertones in the bride’s makeup, the theme was subtly carried through all the wedding details.

Weddings at Triple D Country Party Barn are infused with a rustic elegance, and we love how the theme just built on it. The gorgeous flower arrangements from Analicia’s Flower Shop pulled in some additional warm colors and it all flowed together to create a rich, warm romantic feeling—with just a little bit of a kick. To tie out the theme of Moscow Mules, there was even a make-your-own Moscow Mule bar, complete with different citrus flavors for guests to personalize their own drinks. Later, the cake itself shimmered with molten copper icing.
