This romantic barn wedding in Texas took place at the Springs Venue in Wallisville. We were in awe with the organic yet modern barn wedding venue filled with natural light, featuring high ceilings and stunning wood floors that gave the perfect touch.

Meet Valery and Isaac

Valery and Isaac, the wedding couple, are two sweet people who really spoke to the fun parts of Richard and I’s personalities. When we first met them, we knew that we would be the best fit for their wedding day! (That’s a must for choosing your wedding photographers! You need to like each other as you’ll spend a lot of overall time together on an important day — your wedding day!)

Wallisville Wedding Venue

We really felt like this Wallisville wedding venue was idyllic for a barn wedding in Texas with gorgeous indoor and outdoor settings for photos. The venue location was simply charming. Its manicured landscaping, foliage and native Gulf Coast trees created a small oasis for us and the rest of the wedding party. We almost didn’t want to go inside for the ceremony, but the lighthearted elegance contained inside was hard to resist.

Smiles that lit up the room

There was never a moment when this duo wasn’t smiling or laughing with each other. Our favorite part of the day was when Valery started to walk down the aisle to Isaac and he just completely lit up from the inside out. It was a beautiful, natural moment. That kind of love is so easy to capture on camera. It makes our job very easy. (Thanks you two!)

A foundation for marriage

As part of the celebrations, Valery and Isaac planted a tree in the very dirt from where they had their first date! There’s something poetic about building the foundation of your family on where it all began in the first place. We wish we were that clever when we got married! That’s why we’re sharing this with you now!

Brighter and brighter

The inspiration for this day was “light” and “lightness.” The large arched windows provided soft lighting all day which resulted in stunning photos of Valery, Isaac and their guests. The lightness is something that Valery and Isaac provided themselves with their smiles. Every single guest at the wedding could feel their happiness. It was in every moment of the day.

And as you can see, the reception was especially lively as the couple and their friends and family danced the night away.

Coastal barn wedding in Texas

Personally, one of our favorite moments was at the end of the evening while Richard and I were packing up our equipment. After a long day, there is nothing better than a cool coastal breeze with just a hint of salt in the air to lift up your spirits and cap off a beautiful celebration.
