A barn wedding for Khanh and Coleton
Let me tell you — Khanh and Coleton are so lighthearted and laid back. They reminded me in the best way of Richard and I (the photography duo here at the Bledsoes). And yet, while they were adorably goofy, you could always see how much they deeply care for one another.
Meet the dog parents
A fun-loving couple, Khanh is a veterinarian and Coleton is a Houston police officer. Both are kind and gentle souls who have done a lot to dedicate their lives to animals, people and their communities. (Our kind of people!)
Deep in the Heart Farms wedding venue
The wedding itself was gorgeous. Held in a modern barn venue, their elegant wedding was accented by greenery and simple details.
Deep in the Heart Farms, the wedding venue, is located in a beautifully scenic part of Texas and has a chapel that perfectly matches! It’s a perfect complement to the main space. We also really liked the bridal suite — it was just what we needed for naturally lit, breathtaking getting ready photos.
Tradition followed by celebration
Throughout the day, everyone was easygoing and having a great time. We had shot Khanh and Coleton’s Vietnamese wedding ceremony before, so this was more focused on being a celebration of their union. They were very relaxed — maybe the most relaxed couple we have ever shot! This only made the photos all the more genuine.
A day to remember
Besides their love for one another, what stood out so much was how supportive, loving and happy their family members were for them. And they treated us like family too! My favorite part was certainly Lacie, the dog. So cute, so sweet and so much personality! We love it when people make pets a part of the nuptials!
