Emily and Michael chose a spring wedding in Downtown Houston, and we’re so glad we got to work with them for it! This couple dreamed of a floral-inspired wedding with touches of purple and blush, which was a dream come true for us! We love anything floral-inspired! Guests got a hint of the theme with their wedding invitations, which featured purple envelopes and gold accents by Jo’s Paper Kitchen. Emily incorporated the palette into her gorgeous bridesmaid’s bouquets, which were filled with lavender, plum, and cream flowers. The bridesmaids wore dusty lavender dresses in chiffon, and we loved seeing all of the girls in different styles.
Our favorite detail was her floral heels by Ted Baker! They were so gorgeous and had such a beautiful touch. We also loved her incredible custom ring by Nicole Mera. Both Emily and Michael had custom rings made, and we just love Emily’s wedding band!
A Beautiful First Look
The couple chose a first look, so we walked around the ceremony grounds for bridal and groom portraits. We create a tailored experience for each of our couples, work together to create the perfect timeline, and turn their dream wedding into a reality! Having a first look can allow couples some extra alone-time, which they always love. It’s such an intimate time alone together before the wedding day begins!
The couple had a traditional Greek Orthodox Ceremony, which took place at St. George Orthodox Church. The coupled added lots of floral details, including baby’s breath aisle decor and large white rose floral displays at the alter. It was the perfect ceremony, and the couple was so happy to be married!
Evening reception at The Ballroom at Bayou Place in Downtown Houston
Their reception took place at The Ballroom at Bayou Place. This large ballroom in Downtown Houston is incredible and has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Plus, you get the striking Houston skyline as the backdrop! It was such an honor to photograph Emily and Michael’s spring wedding day in Downtown Houston, and we are so thankful to have been there!
It’s always so lovely to meet new couples and learn all about their vision for their big day. We’d love to hear yours! Just reach out to us, and we can get to know each other.
