Colorful and Modern Bridal Session at Boxwood Manor

This bride was so radiant during her bridal session at Boxwood Manor! Every aspect of her look came together so cohesively, and she sparkled from head to toe. Thanks to the sunny Texas weather, we were able to experiment with shooting both indoors and outdoors. While we are in love with how all the images came out, we enjoyed shooting her in the stunning and spacious bridal suite the most. The room’s large golden floor mirror provided the most magnificent backdrop! Often, brides will select a bouquet for their bridal session which is similar to the one that they will carry on their wedding day. However, other times they want something fun and unique! This bride opted to add a pop of hot pink peonies to her bouquet for her session. That way, her bouquet still had a similar shape to her wedding day look but had color to make her bridal session stand out. The overall effect was luxurious with a pop of fun, and the peonies were our favorite! A Modern Ball Gown for a Bridal Session at Boxwood Manor

The bride’s gown from Misora Bridal in Houston had a modern feel, but with princess flair. The neckline was a notched v-neck, which is always a feature that we love. The skirt, meanwhile, incorporated horse-hair trim which added so much body and movement! The bride had so much fun dancing around in it, and we were able to take some gorgeous portraits as the skirt appeared to float through the air.

To complete her look, the bride wore pared-down makeup and her hair half-up, which allowed her natural beauty to shine. Her smile is truly her best accessory—she was glowing! A soft shimmer of rose gold was swept onto her eyelids, and she wore a complementing rose-colored lip.
