This creekside engagement session was so much fun! Although we had to change the location of the session at the last minute, Amina and Sam didn’t miss a beat. They were full of energy and laughter, and their love shone. It was evident that no matter where we shot their engagement session, they brought out the best in one another!

A Creekside Engagement Session at Golden Hour

Ultimately, we ended up at this gorgeous creekside location outside Houston. It was golden hour, and the sun illuminated the trees with a rosy glow. While the landscape was stunning, Amina and Sam were even more captivating as they posed together. Both are clever and witty, and it is plain to see that they love being around each other. The couple was long-distance for a time, so they know what it feels like to be apart. They know how valuable their time together is, and cherish every bit of it!

Amina brought two beautiful floral dresses with her for the shoot. The first was romantic, featuring a midi length and pale pink blooms, while the second was a flirty navy blue mini dress. Meanwhile, Sam wore a light blue button-down shirt and navy blue pants. The simplicity of his look balanced so well with Amina’s patterned dresses.

We had so much fun shooting Amina and Sam’s creekside engagement session! Plus, it didn’t hurt that they’re a couple of nerds like us. We shared a fair bit of nostalgia with each other, but most of all we shared in their excitement for the next chapter of their lives.
