Elevated Bridal Beauty for a Spring Wedding Ceremony
The day began with our bride receiving the royal treatment from Polished Makeup and Hair. We feel confident saying that they are the most talented hair and makeup team Texas has to offer! They did the bride’s makeup just as we envisioned, with warm brown lids, flushed cheeks, and a rosy pink lip. With her hair swept up into a soft chignon, she looked romantic and Hollywood-chic.
Then, she slipped into her showstopping gown from Brickhouse Bridal, one of Houston’s premier bridal boutiques. Crafted from sleek ivory satin, it fit the sophisticated French feel of the day perfectly. In particular, we loved the versatile off-the-shoulder sleeves, which puffed at the top and tapered at the elbows for a classic, yet modern silhouette.
Meanwhile, the groom donned a classic black tux, then joined his bride outside the chapel for their outdoor ceremony in the April sunshine. Underneath a wooden trellis arch blooming with selections of roses and baby’s breath from Blush Floral Co., they looked picture-perfect. The bride’s bouquet, also from Blush Floral Co., was stunning, filled with pink roses, delicate blush sweet pea, and peach ranunculus for a warm and romantic color palette. With the branches of a live oak stretching out overhead to shade the couple as they said their vows, the scene was truly breathtaking.
Reception Details from a Wedding at The Peach Orchard
The couple’s reception inside the venue’s 16,000 square-foot ballroom was equally lovely, with lush tablescapes composed of rentals from All The Pretty Things and more floral selections courtesy of Blush Floral Co. Gauzy white linens and ivory pillar candles brightened the array, while blush tapers, peach petals, and gold cutlery lent a soft glow. Meanwhile, a dessert table piled high with sweets from Alchemy Bake Lab awaited the newlyweds. A two-tiered cake stood at the center, covered in sage green fondant and frosted blush roses that evoked the spring season. And of course, the spread would not have been complete without a selection of blush and peach-colored macarons!
In addition, Brightside Coffee Cart and Sugar Plum Event Co. brought a touch of whimsy to the affair, with an espresso bar adorned with an installation of blush and champagne balloons. The bride and groom enjoyed cups of creamy lattes together before moving on to sample the Rum Runner and Gold Margarita cocktails from Bar 1901.
