Engagement Photographer in Houston, Texas
Have you ever just met someone and knew instantly that you were going to be friends? We met Federica a few years ago during a styled bridal session and instantly hit it off! Between our constant Borat quotes and goofy natures, we got some absolutely stunning bridal photos! And we can’t tell you how ecstatic we were when she reached out to us about being her wedding photographers! Once we met her fiance Justin for their Houston engagement session (to be more precise, The Woodlands), we knew it was just meant to be!
We asked them a few questions about their relationship and their story. Here is what they had to say!
How did you meet?
Justin and I had met at a country dance hall in Huntsville, TX. We got introduced to each other by our mutual friends. We hit it off immediately! One night, we decided to get Krispy Kreme donuts, since I’ve never had one. That’s when he chose to ask me out! But, he already had me at “Let’s go get some donuts” 🙂 We went our separate ways a few months after that since I moved to Maryland and he was in Texas. But, I had gotten a message from him (totally unexpected) and I came back to Texas because I knew Justin was the one!
How did you know he was the one?
We both weren’t looking for love when we met. It just happened! When we got to know each other more, I felt totally comfortable and knew I could be myself. And I also knew Justin was the one because he is always honest with me. And that’s something I have never had with anyone else in the past. He is such a great person! And incredibly handsome!
Why did you choose the venue you will be getting married at?
The venue we chose (The Annex) is very classic and romantic with a rustic vibe. Everything we wanted in that venue was in my Pinterest wedding board online! We chose it because it’s very beautiful and not too extravagant. The chapel was our main “awe” because it has beautiful stained glass windows with white stone walls.
What advice would you give newly engaged couples?
Planning weddings can be very stressful. So you need to talk about budget, wedding size, and location to your significant other as soon as possible. And don’t forget engagement photos! You should take every opportunity to celebrate with just the two of you! Don’t stress out too much because in the end, it’s all about y’all.
