Allison and Ryan have the sweetest love story! This couple met during their senior year of high school through a mutual friend. They automatically clicked when they realized they had many mutual interests, and instantly got along. They have been inseparable since! It’s always so lovely to hear our couples’ love stories since they are all so unique and special. We believe that every couple deserves a personalized wedding experience, from their engagement session to the wedding day, to heirloom products they can cherish forever.

After high school, the couple attended the University of Houston together. Even through many years of college and late nights studying, they are more in love than ever. Ryan popped the question last year in such a romantic way: while on vacation at Yosemite! It was the perfect proposal for this couple.

Sunset Engagement Session

There’s nothing better than a gorgeous sunset engagement session. For Allison and Ryan’s engagement session, we went out shortly before sunset to capture the perfect golden hour sky. We suggest doing your session 1.5-2 hours prior to sunset to get the best shots. As your wedding photographers, we will work together to help you find the perfect place for your session and the best time to do it. Engagement sessions allow us to get to know each other more and to make sure you are comfortable in front of the camera. Not to mention, being engaged is such a wonderful moment, and deserves to be documented!

They brought monogrammed champagne glasses and it was our favorite part of the session. It was so fun getting pictures of them popping the bottle, and enjoying some champagne together. The gorgeous golden sunset added a soft glow to this perfect evening.
