Addie’s Bridal Session at The Springs in Wallisville

One of the biggest joys we have as wedding photographers is making connections with local vendors! Addie is a makeup artist here in Houston, so we were so honored when she asked us to be her photographer! It is always a privilege to photograph weddings and a little extra special when it is a fellow vendor. Her company, Hey Doll Beauty, offers on-site and in-studio hair and makeup for both events and weddings.

For her bridal session, Addie wanted to use their wedding venue, The Springs in Wallisville. One of the best features of The Springs in Wallisville is that when you use this as your venue, you can use the space for your bridal or engagement session! They give you up to two hours for your session, so this is perfect for bridal sessions. You can get comfortable with the space and see all of the lovely rooms.

We started Addie’s bridal session inside. The reception space is gorgeous, with a blend of rustic charm and contemporary design. Of course, Addie looked flawless! Her smokey eye and pink lip paired perfectly with her soft updo. She chose to have fresh flowers in her hair, which were beautiful with her large bouquet. Her gown was a bohemian dream! The soft lace cascaded from the bodice to the tulle skirt. The keyhole back offered a little bit of drama, and the sweeping train added movement.

We continued our session outdoors on the ceremony lawn. This venue has acres of beautifully manicured lawns that give you so many areas for portraits! One of their ceremony spots features an arch that matches the windows of the barn, which are a unique peak shape. We also made sure to get portraits on the steps inside the barn, that lead up to a second-story overlook.
