There is nothing sweeter than an elopement! And this sunset elopement in Houston is one of the sweetest we have photographed. Sandra and Barak wanted to elope before their big wedding, so we did an intimate session with just the two of them. We chose a large field, so we could get some beautiful sunset portraits.

Beautiful First Look

Their first look was enchanting! Barak was just so happy to see his bride, and their smiles really lit up. While not all couples decide on a first look, it can ease nerves. We love to see how relaxed the two get as soon as they see each other. You can see their nerves wash away! After seeing each other, Sandra and Barak just melted into each other and cuddled for the whole session.

An Elegant Bridal Look

Sandra wore an incredible gown by Made with Love that fit her like a dream! It was a fitted lace gown with a low back and intricate details. Her hair was side swiped in a messy braid, with soft tendrils sweeping her face. She is such a beauty, and her soft makeup and rosy lips tied everything together. For her bouquet, she wanted something lush with a touch of fall. Large cream dahlias, blush peonies, and apricot roses filled the bouquet, with silver dollar eucalyptus draping down.

Sunset Elopement in Houston

Sunset is always a gorgeous time to have a photo session. The lighting is just perfect, and Sandra and Barak looked amazing. Their photos are just so intimate and beautiful.

We walked over to a field for the second part of the session, and Sandra put on a veil. We just love to play with veils at shoots! There are so many incredible pictures you can get with long veils. So, we made sure to capture them together cuddling up under it!

These two were so in love and so natural at posing together. As photographers, we know that being in front of the camera can feel a little unnatural at first. So, we focus on easy prompts and poses that get the two of you cuddling. Before you know it, you are laughing, smiling, and holding hands! As the sun started to set, Barak swiped Sandra off her feet and carried her away. It was the perfect ending to the loveliest day!
