We loved shooting this bridal session at Deep in the Heart Farms! Katie is such a sweet and kind bride, and we can’t wait for her October wedding. This venue is one of our favorites, located in Brenham, TX, northwest of Houston. The barn is in the modern farmhouse style we adore, and the grounds are picturesque!

Fall Bridal Session at Deep in the Heart Farms

It was cloudy and drizzling on the day of Katie’s session, but even a bit of rain couldn’t dampen our spirits! When the sky cleared, we took advantage of the beautiful outdoor space at Deep in the Heart Farms. Katie posed in front of the barn chapel and twirled amid the garden flowers. The clouds in the sky lent gorgeous soft lighting to her portraits!

Meanwhile, Katie carried a bouquet by Moose Feathers Florist. Peach roses, burgundy dahlias, and sprigs of eucalyptus filled the romantic arrangement. We loved the fall feel of the color scheme, which stood out so beautifully against her white gown!

Romantic Bridal Style with a Texan Twist

Katie chose a tulle gown with delicate floral details for her session. It complemented the outdoor space at the venue so perfectly! In addition, she wore a cathedral-length veil that was swoon-worthy (we recommend this length to all of our brides!). As she posed, the breeze lifted the silky fabric and blew it behind her for some dreamy portraits. Of course, like a born-and-raised Texas gal, she completed her look with a pair of cowgirl boots!
