Lauren and Tony’s multicultural wedding was a two-day-long celebration at The Peach Orchard in The Woodlands, TX! Day one checked all the boxes of a traditional American wedding. The bride and groom exchanged their vows in a Catholic ceremony, then headed to The Peach Orchard for dinner and dancing with all their loved ones. However, there were still plenty of nods to Tony’s Indian heritage—a sneak peek into day two of the festivities! We felt honored to capture this unique and colorful wedding day.
Getting Ready at The Peach Orchard
The day began at The Peach Orchard, where Lauren and Tony got ready with their bridal parties. Lauren popped a bottle of champagne with her bridesmaids, and the looks on their faces were priceless. We had a ton of fun tagging along with them throughout the day! In addition, Lauren shared a first look with friends from her show choir. We loved the unique spin she put on this portion of the day that is fast becoming a favorite with our couples. She looked beautiful in her gown, and her friends had the sweetest reaction to seeing her in it!
Lauren and Tony couldn’t keep their eyes off each other during their ceremony. The love between them was evident in every glance they shared! Afterward, we whisked them away for portraits outside the church and on the grounds of The Peach Orchard. The light on that early fall day was perfect as the newlyweds snuggled up close to each other. Meanwhile, Lauren’s long veil floated into our lens in the soft breeze. It was a wedding photographer’s dream!
Multicultural Wedding Reception
After wrapping up portraits, the happy couple made their grand entrance into their wedding reception! Tony joined his friends to perform a traditional Indian dance choreographed by Bollycurves to kick things off. Although day two of their celebration would feature Indian wedding traditions, we loved that Lauren and Tony still found ways to blend their backgrounds to create a multicultural wedding day. There was even a henna artist onsite to tattoo their guests!
Later in the evening, Lauren performed with her show choir. She has an incredible voice! Then, she and Tony sliced into a four-tiered cake from Supreme Kakes topped with a miniature replica of their dog, Harley. It was a vibrant, fun-filled evening from start to finish that was made even better by anticipating the next day of celebrating! A whimsical send-off with bubbles was the perfect way to cap off day one of this one-of-a-kind wedding weekend.
We are so grateful to Lauren and Tony for trusting us to document both days of their fabulous multicultural wedding festivities! If you’d like more information on our services, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We would love to hear from you!
