Darby and Jonah’s garden engagement session was so romantic! The setting was a photographer’s dream, and their love shone through every image we captured that day.  Every detail was beautiful, from the lush greenery to the couple’s classic attire. We’re already excited to document their Houston wedding later this year! 

Garden Engagement Session

As photographers, we were thrilled when Darby and Jonah chose this stunning garden as their engagement session location. Around every corner, we discovered beautiful backdrops for their portraits. Greenery draped from the tall trees while the flowers bloomed brightly. The garden also featured elegant architectural details, from cobblestone avenues to bubbling fountains and a stone archway.

The couple strolled hand in hand through the garden pathways on a gorgeous spring day. They couldn’t stop sharing loving glances, and Jonah had to steal a kiss or two! Darby also showed off her engagement ring with an oval-cut diamond set in a simple gold band. It paired perfectly with the gold cuff bracelet she wore.

Spring Engagement Session Outfits

Darby and Jonah selected two pairs of outfits for their garden engagement session, one formal and one casual. Darby began the session in a long white dress with puffed sleeves and wore her long blonde hair in flowing beach waves. Meanwhile, Jonah complemented her look in khaki pants, a navy blazer, and a white button-down. Blue and white is a classic pairing, and you can never go wrong selecting attire in these colors for your engagement session!

Then, the couple changed into casual looks. Darby wore a blush eyelet lace blouse and jeans, and Jonah opted for jeans and a simple white t-shirt. They looked so sweet together! We also loved their choices of footwear. Darby’s heeled sandals were elegant, while Jonah’s rustic cowboy boots were the perfect nod to the couple’s Texas roots.
