Shelby and Reagan tied the knot at The Luminaire in North Houston on a gorgeous April afternoon. We loved how elegant and timeless their wedding day was! From the impeccable floral design to Shelby’s showstopping dress, it was a joy to capture all the details. We’re so glad Shelby and Regan reached out and asked us to photograph their wedding day!
Ceremony in The Luminaire Chapel
From start to finish, Shelby and Reagan’s wedding day was full of meaningful moments. One of our favorites happened in the morning after Shelby put on her beautiful lace trumpet wedding gown. Although she and Reagan chose not to see each other until that breathtaking moment at the altar, she still wanted to incorporate a first look into the day. So, she decided to do one with her dad and brother! Their family shares a close bond that shone through when they saw Shelby. After sharing emotional embraces, they all took a shot together to calm the wedding day nerves!
Soon it was time for Shelby and Reagan to exchange their vows inside The Luminaire Chapel. Brimming with sunlight and adorned with classic white floral arrangements by Rose and Rae Design, it looked picture-perfect. When Reagan saw his bride walking down the aisle, we had to reach for our tissues! The love in his eyes reflected the deep emotion in the room as the two made their everlasting commitment to each other.
Golden Hour Bridal Portraits
After the ceremony concluded, the sacred atmosphere swiftly transformed into one of celebration! While the couple’s guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we whisked Shelby and Reagan away for portraits on the beautiful grounds at The Luminaire. We couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! Shelby and Reagan were so natural in front of the camera, and the rosy afternoon light coming through the trees was perfect. We especially loved the portraits that featured Shelby’s veil as it tossed lightly in the breeze. The couple looked ethereal, surrounded by the soft white glow!
