Kristina and Charlie’s wedding at The Woodlands Country Club was timeless, from the white floral arrangements to the luxe ballroom setting. The two met while attending an outdoor boot camp and have been committed ever since, even through two years of long distance! Charlie proposed at a rooftop bar in Austin, then surprised Kristina with an engagement party of all their friends. We loved getting to know this sweet couple, and we know you’ll swoon over the images from their special day!
Details of a Classic Wedding Celebration
The couple selected a palette of white, sage, and blush for the day that coordinated perfectly with their classic theme. Kristina’s bridal party wore floor-length sage gowns from Bella Bridesmaids, and the couple’s reception linens from EB Inc. Events also featured the soft hue. We loved the way that the bridesmaids’ neutral bouquets, featuring white roses and a hint of blush peonies, made the color of their dresses stand out. Amanda Bee’s Floral Designs, who is one of our favorite local florists, also created the most stunning elevated arrangements for the couple’s reception! The white florals were the peak of elegance, while the cascading greenery added a fresh touch.
Kristina wanted the ceremony to take place at the church where she grew up, St. Anthony of Padua, and it was a stunning location for the couple to say their vows. One of the couple’s favorite moments from the day was seeing one another for the first time at the altar. And, while we love first looks, we can’t deny that there’s a reason many couples still keep this tradition! The look on Charlie’s face when he saw Kristina was priceless, and we could tell that it would always be a special memory for them as Mr. and Mrs. Fox.
Reception at The Woodlands Country Club
The couple chose The Woodlands Country Club as their reception venue. They fell in love with the outdoor patio overlooking the golf course and abundant greenery, where we were able to snap some breathtaking sunset portraits! In addition, the venue’s all-in-one package featuring catering and bartending made for uncomplicated, headache-free planning. Its proximity to the church made it the obvious choice! After the ceremony concluded, we made our way to the country club, where we were amazed by the elegant design created by Set in Stone Events. Light poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows to illuminate the round tables set with glittering cream tablecloths, softly glowing votives, and gold Chiavari chairs.
As the couple shared their first dance, A. Curtis Creations live-painted the special moment! She worked all throughout the evening to create a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork for the couple, and we were so impressed by her skill. The couple’s guests loved watching the piece take shape, and it was a great form of entertainment for those less inclined to the dance floor! As the night drew to a close, the couple shared one last dance as their guests lined up with sparklers. They had a brilliant sendoff, then escaped to their newest adventure in Monarch British Limousine!
What an honor it was to capture this wedding day at The Woodlands Country Club! We love what we do, and that includes getting to know you and your partner so that we can depict the love you share with artistry and integrity.
